Today we found ourselves on the road once again, this time to Orillia to visit Mike's side of the family. As you'll read below, the kids enjoyed the quiet time, but also had fun playing in the big yard and visiting with family. We are all looking forward to more adventures and meeting new people in the coming days.
No pictures from day 6, but I'm sure we'll make up for it on tomorrow's post!
Alie:
Today was not very eventful. We started our drive to Orillia at 9:30 am and drove until 3:30 pm. Since we spent most of the day in the car I got a lot of reading done. I finished 4 different books and watched 5 show episodes on Netflix. I loved the down time. Once we arrived at Barry and Angie's place we relaxed out in the shade and played a bunch of different lawn game's. It was a nice quiet day.
Gabe:
Today I woke up when dad was bringing a big blue bin to his bedroom. Then all of us went down stairs to eat breakfast. We had eggs and bacon for breakfast. After we ate breakfast we started our long trip to Barry and Angie's. It took 6 hours. Then we got lunch which was yogurt, berries, and cookies then we continued our long trip. When we got there we said hello to everyone then we went to see the trailer we were going to sleep in then we went to the yard and played some games until my Gramma's big brother came over. Then we ordered some subway sandwiches for dinner. Then we played more games. Then I went and chucked up a water bottle in the air and it lands on my head cap down it made a scrach. Then I said good night to everyone then went to sleep but I fell and hurt my feet, then I changed my bed and went to sleep.
Julian:
Today we woke up very early, had breakfast, and said goodbye and left. All we did was drive, and drive, and drive. For lunch we went to a store and bought lunch. For lunch I had a yogurt parfait . It was delicious!!! Once we finally got to Angie's and Barry's we relaxed. Like relaxed for 1 hour. For dinner we got subway. I got a six inch Italian BMT. It was super good! Gramma's big brother (Uncle Lorne ) came and said hi after dinner. He was funny! Today was great!!
