Such a great day today catching up with family from all over Ontario. The kids were a bit overwhelmed with all of the new people to meet, but they handled it all really well and even spent some time talking to new cousins. We are still accumulating pictures, but he are a few of our current favorites.
Enjoy!
Alie:
Today was our family reunion day. All of our family from my Granma's side was there along with some of their friends or their spouses. We spent most of the morning preparing for the event and we had to spray a mosquito repellent all over the lawn so that we wouldn't be bugged by them during the reunion. Once people started arriving I felt overwhelmed but I slowly became accustomed to it. We played a bunch of games in teams like eating donuts with no hands or unfolding frozen shirts. Later that night before everyone left we watched a remberance video and then after they left we sat on the lawn. It was a fun but long day.
Julian:
Today we had a humongous family reunion! There was at least 50 people there. We played a game were you had to eat a donut on a string without using your hands! After that a magician came and he used me as his assistant for two tricks. We watched a video with pics of all of our relieves from like 1920. It was a cool video. Then we all had lunch a said good bye. What a great day!
Gabe:
Today I woke up at 7am and went to go to my family's house to set up the backyard for the family reunion. Once we finished all the people started to pile in. Then we started to get into the groups then we started the games. The first one was that you had to eat a donot on a string but you could not use your hands. It was really hard but I came in 3rd last place. Then we did musical chairs. We came in second place. Then we had to unrap a frozen T-shirt. It was hard but I came in third place. Then we had a magic show then we ate good. Then everyone started to leave when the sun was going down. 1 hour later I got sent to bed.
